Elementary Story Hour

To help offset the cost of supplies, we ask for $4 per child, per session. This program is designed for ages 6 - 10, but siblings and kids of other ages welcome to join. Adults may stay or drop-off (if child is over the age of 6).

Camping Theme


Enjoy seasonal stories, craft time, and a snack in our cozy cabins. Come dressed in your favorite pajamas for an evening filled with friends and fun! 


This program is designed for ages 5 - 10, but siblings welcome. 


Parents/Guardians may stay or drop-off of their child(ren), ages 5 and over.

Heritage House Kids Summer Program

July 9-11: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - 1700's

July 16-18: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - 1800's

July 23-25: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - 1900's


Crafts and Traditions of Elizabethtown over three decades. The program is filled with hands-on-activities, games, experiments, and art projects. Snacks included. Children should bring their lunches.

Pre-school Story Hour

Story Hour instructor dressed in colonial era wear reads to three young children who are listening while finishing their craft.

*Most Second Fridays, September through May, 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.


Story hour offers children the chance to encounter local history through stories, songs, and crafts. Each story hour also includes a snack.


Story Hour will resume in September. Stay tuned for 2025 - 2026 register information. 


To help offset the cost of supplies, we ask for $4 per session or $25 for the entire program, per child. While designed for ages 4 - 6, siblings are welcome to join. An adult should plan to stay.
